How to Help as the Clay Family Grieves

Last night we shared the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved brother in Christ, Dale Clay. We are already seeing the outpouring of love as many have come alongside Sarah and their four children, providing meals and helping in this incredibly difficult time.

Many in our church family and beyond are asking how to help in the coming days. We have three immediate opportunities to serve and provide for the Clay family.

Financially Help: A GoFundMe has been set up to relieve the financial burdens as they grieve and heal. If you would like to give a gift larger than $5,000, please email giving@ethoschurch.org.

Provide a Meal: You can bless the Clay family by taking a meal or providing a gift card. If no dates are available, consider sending a gift card.

Pray for the Clay Family: We believe the promise found in scripture that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted. The road ahead for Sarah and her children, their extended families, and close friends will have many moments of grief and sadness…yet Jesus, our Good Shepherd, walks with them. Take time to pray for this family in the days to come.

In times like this, we see the blessing and comfort of spiritual family. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ as we seek to love and support Sarah and her children.
