Each year we celebrate our birthday by focusing on what GOD is doing among the nations. We use this day to thank the LORD for his faithfulness and kindness to us over the years and to joyfully partner with Him in what He is doing. This year we are partnering with six different ministry leaders who are taking the hope of Jesus to the lost in Europe, Africa, and Asia.
We invite you to join us as we celebrate our church’s birthday this year in three ways:
Pray for our Global Partners, asking GOD to strengthen them, encourage them, and to continue to work through them for His glory. Learn more about our Global Partners on Sundays in our Worship Gatherings. We’ll share limited information about our Global Partners online in order to continue honoring and protecting their safety.
On Sunday, November 2, we’ll take up a Special Offering to benefit the work being carried out by our Global Partners. 100% of this offering will be given away! Our goal is to give $140,000 to support these six partners in five different countries. We invite you to give generously and joyfully, as we seek to join in on Jesus’ global pursuit of seeking and saving the lost. Take time to pray and ask the LORD to guide you in giving to this offering. You can give on Sunday, November 2, or you can give online to our Birthday Fund anytime leading up to Birthday Sunday.
On Sunday, November 9, anyone who wants to give their life to Jesus in baptism will have an opportunity in one of our morning Worship Gatherings at our Downtown Campus. Whether you come to cheer on people as they commit their lives to Jesus in baptism or you decide to step into the waters yourself, we hope you’ll come and celebrate new life in Christ with us.
