Rooted: Living Deeply in a Hurried World

Prayer & Its Importance

Good communication and quality time are at the center of every relationship. As you read through the Gospels, you discover Jesus prioritized prayer — that he prioritized communication with His Heavenly Father. Sometimes he prayed all night long. Sometimes it was early in the morning. Other times it was an impromptu prayer as he was teaching or walking along with his disciples. Prayer had an important place in his life while on earth. So we're going to follow in the ways of Jesus in the month of September, encountering our Father in prayer and asking for his transforming work to happen in and through us.

Schedule

Below you'll find our schedule for the next few weeks:

24 Hour Prayer Vigil

5PM, Saturday 9/7 – 5PM, Sunday 9/8
Ethos Office / 2301 8th Avenue South, Nashville 37203
As a church family, because we want to be just like Jesus, we want to pray like He did. We want to discover what He found in the place of prayer that made him keep coming back to GOD over and over. We’d love for every person in our church family to come and pray for one hour. We’ll spend time praying for ourselves, our church, city, nation and the nations. We’ll have prayer stations for you to engage in as well as times for you to pray with the other people that are there with you. Through this, our hope is that as a church family, every single person will discover what Jesus found in prayer.

If you'd like to pray during a certain hour at the office, simply show up! You can also pray from wherever you are!

Worship Gatherings on Sunday, 9/8

Our morning worship gatherings will take place like normal on September 8th. Our 5PM worship gathering at the Cannery will transform into a celebration of baptisms and worship! Our 7PM Prayer Gathering will not take place on 9/8.

Sunday Schedule:
Cannery Ballroom: 9AM, 11AM
Marathon Music Works: 10AM
Hillsboro Village: 9AM, 11AM
*No Prayer Gathering

Baptisms & Worship

Join us as we worship and celebrate baptisms! This is one of the most joy-filled times of worship in our church, as we watch people take their next steps with Jesus in baptism.

If you'd like to be baptized or have any questions about baptism, go here and fill out the form. Someone from our pastoral team will reach out!

21 Days of Prayer

Beginning Monday, September 9th, we'll begin 21 days of prayer as a church family. We've prepared a prayer guide that you can find here — or you can pick up a prayer guide at your campus on Sunday, September 8th!
