Harpeth Hills Counseling Center
The counseling services are offered to the Harpeth Hills church family, as well as the community at large. While individual therapy is provided for matters such as anxiety or depression, a major focus for the Center is that of “relationships.” This includes preparation for marriage, marital therapy, divorce adjustment, stepfamily adjustment, and parent-child relationships. The Counseling Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 615-690-4661. If appointments need to be canceled, clients are encouraged to call 24 hours prior to their scheduled time in order to make the necessary changes. Rates are tiered between $40-$125 per session based on the experience of the counselor you see. Call to set up an appointment and inquire about a counselor and their rates. While the counseling center does not file insurance, clients are free to file their own insurance to assist in paying for counseling. Financial assistance is available to Ethos Church Family Members.

Born and raised in Nashville, Allison still loves 90s country. You’ll rarely find her without a cup of coffee or a water bottle in hand, and she has an affection for chocolate. She headed west to Harding for college, graduating undergrad with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. From there, Allison went straight into grad school, graduating at the top of her class with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and is now fully licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. She also still likes to tease her husband for having a higher GPA in Graduate School since they went through the same Master’s program at Harding University. Allison has been practicing since 2014 and is trained in EMDR 1 and 2, utilizing this specialization often. She shows a unique combination of gentleness and tenacity of spirit that is infectious and rewarding for her client’s growth. Allison loves working with people who are openly facing any of life’s challenges and are ready to dig in and go deep. Her passions include: her two puppies- Blaise and Blue, reading, drawing, creating artwork, and hand written letters.

Restore Tennessee Counseling
"My goal is to give hope. I seek to support couples as they overcome crises or as they strive to become more deeply connected in their intimacy. Pre-maritals are incredibly fun and insightful. I enjoy walking with couples as they get started and want to create a firm foundation. I also work with teen/adult individuals who want to overcome various life struggles. I believe that vulnerability is the root of our greatest strengths and am honored to be a part of that sacred process with my clients.
I see a myriad of different therapeutic concerns and struggles. The following are what I typically see:
Individual work: anxiety, mild depression, loneliness issues, attachment-based issues in relationships, boundary work, co-dependency work, emotional regulation, coping skills for anxiety or daily life stress, and faith/spiritual issues.
Couples work: pre-marital, marital crisis, attachment/connection issues, overcoming affairs, or relational health maintenance.

Pornography has taken too many men captive. I was one of them, but I have found hope and healing. I want to help you find freedom from pornography so you can experience the fullness of an integrated life. I create a safe environment for you to share your story and experience God’s redemption in your own life through the gift of recovery. I will work with you to find the root causes of your addiction, so the healing process can begin. I will help you learn the truth of who you are, develop new patterns of thinking, and implement healthy skills that will allow you to walk in freedom, fully alive.
After walking my own path of recovery, I felt called to walk with other men and help them find freedom too. I am a trained and certified professional recovery coach who understands both the challenges and the rewards of walking the path of recovery.
You are not made to walk in guilt and shame. You are not made to walk alone. You are made to walk in freedom and in community. Your story is a beautiful narrative of the work of God in your life.

Laura Prescott: LMFT
Hi! My name is Laura. I enjoy working with people who are looking for ways to feel their best, either as individuals or as couples. My focus each day is being a resource for hope, healing, and healthy relationships.
I’m excited to bring something new to the Ethos family: “Marriage Planning & More.” It’s a divinely inspired approach to couples counseling that helps couples learn how to have relationships that thrive. It begins with customized pre-engagement or pre-marital counseling, then offers ongoing coaching to help couples as they experience new challenges in their relationship. Coaching helps couples navigate transitions in their marriage & keep their bond strong as they enter the role of parenting. I approach couples counseling this way because I have a deep desire to help marriages succeed. When marriages thrive, it gives children a better opportunity to flourish. It’s wonderful to see couples grow closer together as they gain wisdom and learn important skills.
I also work with individuals who are looking for ways to feel better. My approach to individual counseling helps clients identify the obstacles that are limiting their joy, so they can begin to live in the freedom of emotional wellness.
