FAQs

What kind of church is Ethos?

Ethos is a non-denominational church relationally connected to a group of churches called the Restoration Movement. The Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement was birthed with a commitment to be simply Christian. Where you come from says a lot about you, but it doesn’t say everything. While we share a commitment to the values of our history, we seek to express our faith in ways that creatively and faithfully engage our ever-changing culture.

Why does Ethos meet in rented spaces such as bar/music venues?

We are highly committed to sharing the love of Jesus in a setting where Christians and non-Christians feel comfortable. Since we know many people in our city are intimidated to go to a church building, we have decided to meet in spaces that feel warm, relational, and non-threatening.

Does Ethos Church offer anything for families with young children?

Yes, for more information regarding Ethos Kids go here

What should I wear?

Whatever you want. Dress is casual. Seriously, just come as you are.

What should I expect at a Sunday Worship Gathering?

Each worship gathering lasts approx. 1 hour and 25 minutes. Plan on arriving a few minutes early in order to get a parking spot, find a seat, and prepare your heart for our time together.

Each week we spend time in worship, communal prayer, Bible teaching, and family communion. We are simple and laid back, and we’d love for you to come any time.

What does Ethos mean?

The characteristic spirit of a culture, era, or community as displayed by its beliefs and behaviors. In other words, our “Ethos” as a church is Jesus.
