Sr. Camp

When: June 11-16
Cost: $210
Registration Deadline: May 5
What is it? Church camp was such a formative experience for myself and so many others on the Ethos Staff, and now hopefully can be for our students. Growing up, we always liked to say that God wasn’t more present at camp, we were simply more aware of Him. That is the goal of camp – to turn our attention and affection toward God for an extended period of time by putting away distractions and putting ourselves in position to watch Him move. Some things to look forward to: super sports, skit night, camp talent show, incredible worship, an off-site activity, devotional time with your age group, and much much more. I know this is a big change from what we’re used to, but I’m asking you to trust me. It will be a blast!

Power Up Clubs
Location: Nashville, TN
Who: 5th-12th grade
When: June 26-29
Cost: $40
Registration Deadline: May 28
What is it? Once again, we will partner with Ethos Kids to bring gospel-centered fun to neighborhoods around our city! The goal of Power Up Clubs is to minister to our local neighborhoods’ children and families. Different host homes will invite their neighbors to come for 75 minutes of fun, community, and encountering the gospel. Students will lead the entire program which means this is an opportunity for you to grow, be challenged, and have fun learning to work together as a team. You’ll have fun, you’ll grow, you’ll make memories, and you will take a step in leadership. This is a great starting point for future domestic and international mission trip opportunities.

Local Missions Week
Location: Nashville, TN
Who: 5th-12th grade
When: July 3-7
Cost: TBD
Registration Deadline: June 4th
What is it? I think we often fall prey to the lie that we will all of a sudden know how to live on mission when we get in a plane or a car. In reality, we have to start in our own city. This is the goal of our local missions week this summer – to open our eyes to the people in Nashville that we often don’t see. We will be partnering with multiple organizations in the city to serve, learn, and experience how God is moving. More details to come!

What is it? We are partnering with Harpeth Hills Church of Christ to bring our 5th and 6th grade students to church camp as well! Harpeth Hills has been running this camp for a long time now, and has crafted a meaningful and fun experience for middle school students. Phil and Melissa Roe lead the teaching, bringing a wealth of spiritual wisdom and guidance while college students spend the week as counselors. This will be a great fit for our students and they’ll experience God in fresh ways and make new friends and memories!
