Venue
If you've been with us on Sundays at the Cannery or Marathon, you've likely heard about the transition ahead for both campuses. Beginning Sunday, May 1st, we'll refer to this newly formed church family as Ethos Church Downtown.
Our Cannery and Marathon families are preparing to step into a new season as they come together to form a new family. We'll gather at Marathon Music Works at 9am and 11am on Sundays, beginning May 1st.
When: Sunday, May 1st
Where: Marathon Music Works, 1402 Clinton Street, Nashville 37203
Times: 9am and 11am
Our last Sunday at the Cannery is Sunday, April 24th.
Parking
On Sundays, there are multiple options for parking around Marathon Music Works. You can park on the street in permitted/available spots. We also have 4 lots reserved for our church family: the parking lot directly behind and beside Marathon Music Works, as well as Lots B, C, and D.

Ethos Kids
The first two Sundays, May 1st and 8th, we're inviting all children to join us in the worship gathering. Make sure to stop by the kids check-in area to pick up items for your children to use in the gathering. We'll also have information about the venue and our new kids spaces.
On Sunday, May 8th, we're inviting all kids, parents, and kids volunteers to join us following the 9am Worship Gathering for an Ethos Kids Preview Party. This will be a fun time to get acquainted with our team and spaces! More information coming soon!
We are excited to launch nurseries and classes on Sunday, May 15th for newborns through age 4/pre-K. We'll be sharing more information about classes for kindergarten through 4th grade in the coming weeks.
Ethos Students
On Sunday, May 1st, Ethos Students will be hosting a Students Preview Party between the 9am and 11am Worship Gatherings (10:30am to 11am) — you'll have the chance to see the space and Ethos Students team. On Sunday, May 8th, Ethos Students will resume meeting from 10:10am to 11am.
To find the new Ethos Students space at Marathon: from the back of the room, look to the right of the stage. You will see a tall Ethos Students orange flag. The Ethos Students space is located there!
Volunteer Needs
As the two campuses come together, there will be volunteer needs that surface. We already have an idea of a few places we can bolster with volunteers.
Set Up Team
This team arrives to help us get the room set up before our first worship gathering. Some of the setup details are slightly different in this season — but overall, this team will be much the same as it has always been: setting up chairs, getting our lobby and parking lot ready, and generally making sure our entire space is ready by 9am. If you're a morning person and have a passion for details and behind the scenes work, this might be a great fit for you. Click here to sign up.
Tear Down Team
This team is exactly what you're thinking it is. After getting through a Sunday's worth of gatherings, we're looking for a team of people who want to help us get everything cleaned up and torn down. In signing up for this team, you should expect to stay 30-45 minutes following the 11am gathering to get everything done. If you think setting up is tedious and boring and you'd rather tear it all down like a Tasmanian devil, bring it on! Click here to sign up.
Ethos Kids Volunteers | 9am Only
Ethos Kids only at the 9am Gathering | Ethos Kids volunteers arrive early to create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for the kids. As kids arrive, this team interacts with parents and cares for the kids. Some Ethos Kids classes have curriculum, and the volunteers assist in the classroom. Some Ethos Kids volunteers will keep the babies and toddlers in the nurseries. You can also sign up to teach a term in one of our kids classes. To serve on this team, you must fill out a background check with Ethos. Click here to sign up.
Ethos Kids Set Up Team
This volunteer role will be for the Downtown campus at our 9AM gathering. This team will arrive at 7:30am to help us get the Kids Space set up. You will partner with our Kids Team to assist in creating a safe and welcoming environment for children and families. If you're a morning person and have a passion for details and behind the scenes work, this will be a great fit. Click here to sign up.
Frequently Asked Questions
Below you'll find some of the questions that we've been getting — if you have a question and don't see the answer, feel free to email us at .
When will Ethos Kids nursery and classes take place?
Beginning Sunday, May 15th, we will offer Ethos Kids nursery and classes for ages newborn through age 4/pre-K. Our hope is to open Ethos Kids classes for kindergarten through 4th grade in the following weeks. One way you can help us launch classes for the older children is by volunteering to serve on the Ethos Kids team. Click here to sign up.
There will be no nursery or classes offered on Sunday, May 1st and Sunday, May 8th at our Downtown location.
Where do I enter the building at Marathon Music Works?
When you arrive at the front of Marathon Music Works, you'll be looking for a brick building that has the words "Marathon Music Works" painted on the side. To make this easier, there will be two large blue Ethos flags on the sidewalk — one flag will help signify the direction you should walk, the other flag will be stationed by the front entrance of the building.
On the backside of the building, there is a gravel parking lot you can park in. On the wooden steps and porch, there will be another large blue Ethos flag stationed by the back entrance.
Photos coming soon.
Which Ethos podcast should I subscribe to?
