Rules Regarding Your List of Names

On Sunday, hundreds of churches handed out Awaken Nashville packets. In this packet is a list of 15 names of people to be praying for through this season of prayer and fasting.

These names represent real people. Your list is sacred. Take care of this list. Treat it like something valuable...because it is valuable!

We know you are curious about the people on your list. That you want to know more about them...what they look like, who they are. That's totally normal. However, we want to honor and protect their names, information, and privacy.

So here are a few things to do and NOT to do with your list...


Keep this list somewhere where you will see it and remember to pray.

Honor their privacy and respect their boundaries.

Treat their information just as you would want your information treated.

Be a responsible steward of the list entrusted to you — honor these people by protecting and caring for your list.


Do not try to contact anyone on your list, other than sending them the postcard that we've provided.

Do not drive by their house.

Do not try to meet them.

Do not try to find your people on social media. (Don't friend them, don't message them)

Do not post your list on social media or share it with other people.

Do not publicly post your list anywhere. (Online, in your work place where other's can see it, etc.) 

This list is about praying on behalf of 15 people — and for now, that's all you need to do. Let's find ourselves at the feet of Jesus on behalf of these 15 people. Together, let's trust God to do more than we can imagine...let's pray and fast...and trust that He will move in the hearts of our 15 people.

We are so excited to be on this journey with you. Thank you for taking on this commitment, for preparing to pray and fast, and for honoring your list. 

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3:20–21
