Parenting in the Digital Age
Ethos Kids is hosting a workshop on kids + technology and we would love for you to join!
It is no secret that today’s children are growing up in a world dominated by technology, social media, and screen time. While none of these things are inherently bad, they are shifting our culture in alarming ways.
If you are a parent or you work with kids as an educator, nanny, grandparent, tutor, etc. I invite you to join us for our Parenting in the Digital Age workshop.
At the seminar we will cover topics such as:
Grasping which areas of technology present the greatest risks for our kids, from apps and video games to YouTube and social media.
Making use of parental controls and monitoring solutions to provide accountability, boundaries, and balance. Understanding which solutions can help you achieve your goals.
Helping your kids wait well for access to deeper levels of technology like gaming, smart phones, and social media.
Talking to your kids about sensitive subjects such as explicit content and predators.
Incorporating tools to curb your own technology habits to set a good example.
Q&A with the experts, plus hands-on help to lock down devices. (Bring your tablets and phones.)
