Big Idea:

Nashville Work Camp is one of the best ways for current 2017-18 school year 6-12th grade students to serve and love people right here in our city this summer. During the week of June 3-8th, 300 students from Nashville and surrounding cities will spend their week serving some of the elderly and fixed-income families in our city by scraping & painting houses, performing minor repairs, and doing lawn work. Crews serve from 9:00AM - 3:00PM each day (Monday-Friday) and then gather again in the evening for dinner and worship together from 6:00PM - 8:30PM at Woodmont Hills Church on Franklin Pike. This summer will be Ethos Students' 5th year to participate in Nashville Work Camp. At Work Camp we work hard, have a blast, get to know some of our neighbors, develop relationships with area churches, and worship Jesus.

Nashville Work Camp is open to any current 6-12th grade students. We also need adults who can commit to leading work crews for the week. If you're an adult interested in volunteering with us, email . Please spread the word to any students you think might be interested in joining us! Here are the details:

  • Cost: $105/Student (Adult Volunteers are free!)
  • When: June 3-8th
  • Where: Woodmont Hills Church is home base where we meet in mornings/afternoons
  • Who: Current 6-12th grade students (2017-18 school year)
  • Sign Up Deadline: Sunday, April 15th
    • We need adult volunteers, email  if interested
    • We need ladders (step & extension) let us know if we can borrow yours

Adult Volunteer Help

  • We need 1 adult volunteer serving for every 5 students we bring to Nashville Work Camp
  • Work Camp registration is paid for by Ethos Church for adult volunteers
  • Please contact us at  if you are interested in learning more about serving with us at Nashville Work Camp.

Housing Option for Work Camp:

Hillsboro Church of Christ has graciously offered to allow us to stay with their youth group in their church building for this year's Nashville Work Camp. This is a great option for families who do not have the ability to transport their student to and from Work Camp activities twice a day. Josh and a team of adult volunteers will be staying at Hillsboro with the students all week along with adult volunteers and pastors from Hillsboro. We will provide all transportation to and from work camp for campers who elect to stay with us. The only additional cost to this option is $10/camper which will provide all sack lunches and snacks Monday - Friday. This can be paid the week before Nashville Work Camp.
