Habitat For Humanity

Habitat for Humanity specializes in building houses for families in need.  As part of our initiative around Easter to give out 100% of the collection that comes in, Ethos will be using some of that money to fund a Habitat build.  We will be partnering with other sponsors from different businesses, churches, and organizations around Nashville to help build these houses.  Through our efforts we will complete roughly half of a house as a church alone, and we will get to be a part of working on two houses for families in need over our four work days.  We will work on one house the first two days of our build (April 21 & 27) and work on a different house the last two days of our build (May 17 & 18).

There are roughly 100 spots open between all four build days for volunteers to help with the work.  Each day will comprise of different tasks that need to be done, so check out all the work days to see what might interest you the most.  Habitat requires that all volunteers must be at least 16 years of age, and if under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 21 years of age or older.  Much of the work will require the use of power tools that also require the user to be at least 18 years old, so if you have a minor coming to a build with you, Habitat suggests the May 17 and 18 dates will probably be best as there will be a lot of landscaping and cleaning duties.

We also are looking for volunteers who would be willing to cook lunch for the volunteers on each build day.  If you are interested in doing so, please send an email to .

Click the date(s) you are interested in volunteering on, and fill out the registration form.  You will receive an email closer to the day of the build with more information and a release form to fill out and return.
