Giving Update / 3rd Quarter 2015

Posted by Ethos Church on

“…whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should
give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion,
for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

Apostle Paul, 2 Cor 9:6b-8

Our church family whole heartedly believes the Word of God recorded in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8, and by the grace of God we are becoming a family that is learning how to live out this generosity together. Our prayer is that we will continue to become a church committed to lives of radical generosity towards Jesus, His Church, & His world.

Practically speaking, this means we are equally passionate about leveraging our resources equally to meet the ministry needs of our church family (i.e. rent, staffing, children’s ministry, ministry supplies, training materials, etc) as well as blessing people beyond our church family (i.e. church planting, local global missions, benevolence, etc).

By God’s grace and the generosity of people like you, we have been able to live into this “outward facing” way of generosity for six years and counting with no intention of slowing down.

2015 has continued to be a year of tremendous growth for our church family. Our church’s financial health has been no exception. As we approach the end of the 3rd Quarter in the 2015 Fiscal Year, our church family has given $971,000!
