A Big Week for Our Church Family

Posted by Dave Clayton on

Hello Ethos Family,

It is hard to believe we are nearing the end of our 30 Day Season of Prayer and Fasting! It has been such a sweet season for our church family to spend 4 consecutive weeks in one location together each Sunday seeking God through a time of prayer and fasting with churches from all around the world. Although this season has stretched us in many ways, the fruit of our time with God and each other has been wonderful. As we enter into our last week of the fast together (we end on February 27th) -- here are some important things for everyone who calls Ethos Church home.

First — This Sunday We Return to Our Normal Times & Locations

First things first, this Sunday, we will return to our normal times and locations at all three of our locations. Please help spread the word, especially for your friends and family members that might have missed the last couple of weeks.

Second — Worship, Prayer, & Baptisms This Sunday Night @ 7pm

Secondly, we will have a special time of prayer, worship, and baptisms this Sunday Night at 7pm in the One Venue at the Cannery. This will be an incredible way to include our 30 Days together so make plans to join us.

Third — Encouragement to Finish Well

My good friend Amy Etheridge, wrote an incredible blog to encourage us as we all come down the home stretch of this 30 Day Journey together. I would encourage you take a few minutes to read it. I believe it will bless you greatly.

Four — Share Your Story

If you haven't had a chance to do so, I would encourage you to take a few minutes to share how God has been at work in your life during this season of prayer and fasting. On Sunday, March 5th, we are going to have a special time of celebrating all that God has done. Don't worry, we won't share your story without your permission. Our desire is to simply get a pulse on what God has been doing among our larger church family during this season.

Five — I Love You, Ethos Church

Finally, I just want to express how much I love you Ethos Church. It has been such a joy to watch the way you have so faithfully pursued the Lord in this season together. It has been amazing to see so many of you gather early each week to pray and seek God. It has been fun to listen to your stories of how God is moving and stretching you in this season. Above all of that, it has been so great to see our church growing in our love and hunger for God together. I consider it such a great joy and honor to be on this journey with you. I love you deeply, and I look forward to being with you on Sunday. In the meantime, keep your eyes on Jesus!
